How can we flag a post for deletion? There is a nasty one under the Koontzmaniac folder within the Koontzmaniac General one that needs to be deleted like "yesterday" ... porn is what hijacked one of our temporary Koontz homes ... we need it gone!

Gotcha ... I sent two pm's - one to Admin and one to the Koontzmaster ...

Hmm the whole site has been hijacked all the porn plus a couple for IT products. God I hate spammers..

One of our substitute sites got hit too if I remember..

That's right, and I immediately raised the security settings after that happened. Koontzmaster should do the same, but I fear time isn't on her side. She could do with a backup moderator; I'm sure many here will volunteer.

If only she actually visited the site every once in a while, she would see it ... I sent additional PMs to her suggested what Johnny said above. What is the use in setting up a forum board, drawing happy Koontzaholics here and then leaving it alone? To me, if you put something up on the internet, especially a website or forum, you have a responsibility to it.

My boyfriend had a suggestion which he says is an easy option for these sorts of sites/forums.

The things that are spamming us are apparantly "bots" that are designed to join up and spam, its not someone logging in to do it. Therefore the solution is those things when you join u that you have to write something that you can see from text thats a bit obscured, lots of sites have them. Like a word

HAVEN and you have to write it again in the box. The automated spammers can't do it..

Hope Koontzmaster comes to sort it out soon..

That's what I mean by raising security settings. Unfortunately there's only one person with access to those settings.

Hurry up Koontzmaster.. This is getting stupid now, pages of spam to look through..

I only have the Koontzmania address. I'll do a search but chances are slim I'll come up with something.
